Tenuta Fertuna’s “Lodai” wine is a red that confirms the vocation of the Maremma area to produce great wines using the most famous international grape varieties. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are subjected to soft pressing and fermentation with maceration on the skins in stainless steel tanks. The wine rests for a period of 12 months in tonneau d’Allier and completes the refinement with at least 6 months in the bottle before being put on the market. It has a rather intense ruby color. The olfactory profile opens on the classic aromas of black currant and small berries, nuances of aromatic herbs of the Mediterranean scrub, hints of roasting and blond tobacco. The sip is warm and enveloping, with an evolved tannic texture and an aromatically dense, intense and soft body. The Maremma with an international style!
