Description
The Brunello di Montalcino “Vigna Loreto” wine comes from an exceptional territory, cared for and pampered for more than thirty years by the Mastrojanni team, one of the most popular winery by enthusiasts and connoisseurs of the Brunello DOCG. This “Vigna Loreto” has a body in which elegance and personality come together in a sip where power, freshness, strength and vivacity tell a wine that is born among the rows of Montalcino vineyards, which does not undergo any transformation in the cellar. The pure beauty of the terroir in a sip of great character. This Brunello di Montalcino “Vigna Loreto” comes from the bunches of a red grape variety that, especially in Tuscany, manages to express itself on sublime qualitative levels, Sangiovese. The grapes of this variety are carefully selected during the harvest by the team of the Mastrojanni winery, so as to guarantee only the best of the terroir of origin. Once the grapes arrive in the rooms used for winemaking, they ferment alcoholically. We then proceed with the aging phase, in which the wine remains for 36 months to rest in Allier oak barrels; after bottling there is a further period of maturation, which lasts in glass for 8 months. The “Vigna Loreto” is a Brunello di Montalcino DOCG which, in the glass, takes on deep and compact contours, which recall the color of ruby. The range of aromas that envelops the nose is assembled on mainly fruity notes, embellished with light touches of sweet spices. On the palate it is of excellent structure, full-bodied and energetic, with a muscular sip that hits the palate without delaying too much, but proving to be very pleasant thanks to the velvety tannic texture. A bottle made by the Mastrojanni winery ideal to be tasted as an accompaniment to second courses of red meat and game, cooked with important preparations.
