Description
The Barolo DOCG Bricco Rocche is the Piedmontese red wine for poisoning, with the deepest and most bourgeois tradition. A wine of exemplary quality and prestige. Produced in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto with 100% pure Nebbiolo grapes. The vineyard used for its production in the Castiglione Falletto area is the smallest geographical mention among those outlined in the Barolo specification and has just over 1 hectare of extension. However, it represents the most prestigious portion of the DOCG. In an area that was once called La Serra and is set between the Villero and the Rocche di Castiglione, ideally representing the sum of the apical parts; it can be considered a monopoly as the whole lot is the exclusive property of the Ceretto family. The cultivation height of the vineyard is perfect and ranges from 350 to 370 meters above sea level, the exposure runs from south – east to south – west. The soils made up of Sandstone of Diano allow to strengthen the ideal sense of balance, suggested by the geographical position, and see a good percentage of sand, silt and clay.
